2014 LPAC Stakeholder Report

Posted on: March 11th, 2015 by teamlpac

Dear Friends,

My first month as the first Executive Director of LPAC has been incredible. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank the many of you who have welcomed me so warmly — in person, over email, and on social media at Facebook and Twitter. Your support and assistance mean so much.

As I hit the ground running, my first order of business is to update you with LPAC’s annual Stakeholder Report for 2014. I hope that reading about our 2014 successes and challenges, and thinking about how to accomplish our objectives in 2015 and beyond, will inspire your participation and engagement on Team LPAC.

We are incredibly proud that we held our own in the very difficult 2014 political environment – including making history by electing Maura Healey (D-MA), the nation’s first out lesbian or gay Attorney General. And, we are confident that with your ongoing support, we are positioned to continue claiming our seat at the table, and exercising our political power as lesbian, bisexual and transgender women.

Please take a moment to review our 2014 report. And, please reach out anytime with your thoughts, ideas and hopes for LPAC. We need your help to grow LPAC into a larger and more powerful force to protect and battle for LGBT equality, women’s rights and social justice.

Yours in Equality,

Beth Shipp
