LPAC ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
STEPHANIE SANDBERG TAKES HELM OF ONLY NATIONAL SUPERPAC THAT BUILDS POLITICAL POWER FOR LGBTQ WOMEN

WASHINGTON, DC (May 11, 2018) — LPAC, the country’s only political action committee empowering and engaging LGBTQ women politically, today announced that Stephanie Sandberg has taken the helm as Executive Director, as the organization completes its 6th year of operation, launches its political program for the 2018 midterm election endorsements and prepares for its largest fundraiser, Levity and Justice for ALL, in New York City June 20, 2018.

“We are so excited to have Stephanie Sandberg lead LPAC as our Executive Director at this critical time for the organization and our political work in 2018,” said Laura Ricketts, Board chair of LPAC. “Stephanie brings deep and diverse experience that LPAC needs to grow the organization and lead us in an election cycle in which so much is at stake for our country and the communities that LPAC serves.”

“It is the thrill of a lifetime to take the reins at LPAC and lead this important institution, which gives voice to LGBTQ women and the complex and multi-faceted lives we lead,” said Sandberg. “LPAC is uniquely suited to galvanize LGBTQ women, our families and allies politically, especially in these hostile times, and I look forward to engaging the broadest possible support to help elect candidates that can best advance our values: LGBTQ and women’s rights, racial and social justice.”
