Jamie McLeod-Skinner

Jamie McLeod-Skinner is running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Oregon’s 5th Congressional district.

This will be one of the most competitive races in the county, and after coming just shy of victory in 2022, Jamie is the best candidate to run again and flip this seat from red-to-blue.

In 2018 , LPAC endorsed McLeod-Skinner when she ran for the U.S. House of Representatives for Oregon’s 2nd Congressional district. Although she came up short, she achieved the greatest red-to-blue shift of any Congressional district in the county. LPAC also endorsed her when she ran for Secretary of State in 2020 and for Congress in 2022.

Prior to moving back to Oregon, McLeod-Skinner served on the Santa Clara (CA) City Council for eight years. She is an attorney and served as an elected Board Member for the Jefferson County Education Service District (ESD), and as appointed Member At Large for the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB).
