Julie Johnson

State Rep. Julie Johnson is a Democrat running for an open seat in the U.S. House of Representatives (TX-32).

Rep. Johnson was first elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2020 and 2022. LPAC has endorsed her in all of her elections. In the Legislature, Rep. Johnson has been a prominent voice for LPAC’s values, serving as the Vice Chair of the Women’s Reproductive Health Caucus and on the LGBTQ Caucus.

Outside of electoral politics she is an attorney in Dallas County and has represented thousands of clients in the DFW area. She has been in practice since 1991.

Johnson grew up between Houston, Texas and Auburn, AL. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Houston Law School.
