PAST - LPAC at PTown Women's Week Honoring Urvashi Vaid
PAC will be at Women’s Week starting October 13th in Provincetown, MA to honor the legacy of an extraordinary leader and former Ptown resident, Urvashi Vaid.
Project LPAC will be sponsoring free screenings of the documentary There Are Things to Do, a powerful tribute to Urvashi’s incredible contributions to the fight for LGBTQ equality, women’s rights, and social justice. This film captures her remarkable spirit and tireless advocacy, and we would be honored to have you join us for this moving experience. The film will be screened at Waters Edge Cinema once a day October 14-18. To secure your ticket, please click here.
On Thursday, October 17th from 3-5pm at the Gifford House, we will also be officially launching the LPAC Urvashi Legacy Fund, which will exclusively support LPAC’s candidates of color. This fund represents Urvashi’s lifelong dedication to equity and inclusion, ensuring that LGBTQ women of color have the resources and support they need to make lasting change in our political landscape. RSVP to info@teamlpac.com. If you can’t be there, please click here to contribute towards the fund.
Thank you for your support as we honor Urvashi and her lasting impact.
