Angelina Cruz

Angelina Cruz is a Democrat running for the Wisconsin State Assembly.

Born and raised in Racine, Angelina Cruz is the granddaughter of Mexican migrant workers who chose to settle in Racine to start a family because of the manufacturing job opportunities in the area. She is a public-school teacher and 20-year veteran of the Racine Unified School District.

Cruz currently serves as the President of Racine Educators United, the local educators union, the first Latina to ever hold this role.
