Ariana Arestegui

Ariana Arestegui is a Democrat running for City Council in Garden Grove, CA.

Arestegui is a daughter of Mexican immigrants and a lifelong resident of Garden Grove. After graduating from California State University, Northridge, she began working to elect progressive leaders in Orange County. In 2024, she was elected to the Democratic Party of Orange County's Central Committee and she currently serves on the city's Parks, Recreation, and Arts Commission. If elected, Arestegui will be the first out LGBTQ+ woman elected in the city's history.
