Arienne Childrey

Arienne Childrey is a Democrat running for a seat in the Ohio State House of Representatives.

Arienne Childrey is a committed advocate and community leader with a background in retail management and youth ministry. She established Northwest Ohio Trans Advocacy and has been actively involved in Democratic Party leadership, serving on the Auglaize County Democratic Party Executive Committee.

Earlier this year, Childrey was one of three trans candidates who had their ballot qualification challenged; the challenge was dismissed because it didn’t come from a member of the Democratic Party, but Childrey’s Republican opponent has now introduced a bill that would allow for cross-party challenges in the future.
