Bianca Tirado

Bianca Tirado is a Democrat running for South Bend City Clerk in Indiana.

Tirado moved to South Bend at the age of six. She attended Indiana University before going into higher education policy and curriculum development. She then shifted into local government, becoming the Chief Deputy City Clerk, a role she has been in for five years.

South Bend is a city of 103,000 located in northern Indiana, adjacent to the University of Notre Dame. The City Clerk is the administrative arm of the nine-member Common Council and acts as the liaison between the Council and the Mayor’s office. Tirado is focused on efficient processes and procedures, transparency and accessibility.
