Brit Blalock

Brit Blalock is a Democrat running for election to the Alabama State House of Representatives in District 54.

Blalock is a longtime political activist who has helped run more than 20 campaigns throughout Alabama. She serves on the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party of Alabama, and also founded two LGBTQ nonprofit organizations.

Her priorities are Medicaid expansion, protecting voting rights, and police training reform. If elected, she will be the only out LGBTQ woman in the Alabama Legislature.
