Crystal Hudson

Crystal Hudson is running for re-election to the New York City Council. LPAC first endorsed Hudson when she was successfully elected in 2021.

Hudson has worked in public service for a number of years, including working for the New York City Council and Office of the New York City Public Advocate. She was one of the first black LGBTQ woman elected to the Council. On the Council she serves as the Chair of the Committee on Aging.

Hudson’s priorities are increased and more equitable public-school funding, affordable housing, and criminal justice reform.
