Newbury made history as the first LGBTQ+ woman elected to the Rahway City Council and has been a powerful advocate for policies that directly benefit families across New Jersey. As a mother of two children attending Rahway Public Schools and married to a dedicated educator, Newbury is personally invested in the community’s future and is committed to creating opportunities for all residents to thrive.
