Deb Ruggiero

State Rep. Deb Ruggiero is a Democrat running for Lieutenant Governor of Rhode Island.

She was first elected in to the State House in 2008, defeating a Republican incumbent who had been in office for 28 years. She has been re-elected every year since, and now serves as the Chair of the Innovation, Internet and Technology Committee.

Her priorities are addressing the needs of Rhode Island’s older residents, promoting small business, and revitalizing emergency management systems. She has been endorsed by the Victory Fund and other organizations.
