Emily Clouse

Emily Clouse is a Democrat running for a seat on the Thurston County Commission in Washington.

Clouse is a combat veteran, a nonprofit leader, and a union member. Clouse enlisted in the army at the age of 17 and eventually became a military intelligence analyst. She is the co-founder and Executive Director of CARE, an organization serving formerly incarcerated youth.

Thurston County has a population of 294,000 and is home to Washington’s capital city of Olympia. Clouse is focused on affordable housing, environmental sustainability, and improving social services.
