Vermont State Representative Emma Mulvaney-Stanak is a Progressive running for Mayor of Burlington, Vermont.

Mulvaney-Stanak is a mother, legislator, organizer, and small business owner. She currently serves as a State Representative and as Caucus Leader of the House Progressive Caucus. She was first elected to the Vermont House of Representatives in 2020, unseating an eight-year Democratic incumbent in the primary with 58 percent of the vote.

Mulvaney-Stanak is focused on housing, education, and healthcare. If elected, she would be the first woman and the first out LGBTQ person to serve as Mayor of Burlington.
