Guyleen Castriotta

Mayor Guyleen Castriotta is running for re-election as Mayor of Broomfield, Colorado.

Castriotta was unanimously appointed to Mayor Pro Tem in 2019 and was elected to a full term as Mayor in 2021, winning by a 5% margin. She serves as the Co-Chair for CCAT (Counties and Commissioners Acting Together) and was recently appointed to the State Board of Health by Governor Jared Polis. Her professional career includes over 15 years of experience working with local news and national media networks in marketing and communications.

Castriotta was the first openly lesbian candidate elected to the Broomfield City Council.
