Jessica Rothchild

Jessica Rothchild is running for a second term on the Scranton City Council in Pennsylvania. She was the first openly LGBTQ person ever elected to the chamber.

Jessica was first elected to the Council in 2019. She also serves as an elected Democratic State Committee Member. She has served as a member of the Pennsylvania Commission for Women and on the Scranton Human Relations Commission. Outside of public service she is a doctor of physical therapy.

Her priorities for a second term are addressing blight as it relates to property, building more safe and affordable housing for renters, and improving sidewalk infrastructure and walkability.
