Julie Jordan

Julie Jordan is running for the Georgia House of Representatives in the 179th District.

She was the Democratic nominee in the 2018 election and lost to the incumbent by about 3,000 votes

Jordan previously served as the president of the Georgia School Counselors Association and is the Chair of the Glynn County Democratic Party. She retired last June after a 30-year career in education. Her platform is focused on expanding Medicaid, increasing the minimum wage, and protecting the Georgia coast.
