Kate Lieber is running for re-election to the Oregon State Senate in the 14th district.

Lieber was first elected in 2020, defeating a Democratic primary opponent with 74 percent of the vote and going on to defeat a Republican general opponent with 69 percent of the vote.

She is the first out lesbian elected to the Oregon State Senate and became Senate Majority Leader on January 9th, 2023. Lieber previously worked as an attorney prosecuting domestic violence and child abuse cases.
