Kerri Evelyn Harris

Kerri Evelyn Harris is a Democrat running for election to the Delaware State House of Representatives.

Harris is an Air Force Veteran who moved to Delaware to serve at Dover Air Force Base. She is a community advocate and serves as a National Committeewoman for the Delaware Democratic Party. In 2018 she ran a grassroots campaign in the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate, earning around 35% of the vote.

Her priorities are stabilizing health care costs, particularly by instituting a state Medicaid buy-in option, strengthening and expanding education opportunities, instituting universal pre-K, and supporting active duty and veteran military service members. She has been endorsed by the Delaware AFL-CIO, Sen. Sarah McBride, Sen. Marie Pinkney, and several other state and local elected officials.
