Kim Jackson

State Senator Kim Jackson is a Democrat running for re-election to the Georgia State Senate.

Jackson was first elected and endorsed by LPAC in 2020. She is the only LGBTQ person in the Georgia State Senate, and has been a leading defender of LGBTQ rights, women’s rights, and voting rights in the Chamber.

Jackson is also a member of the clergy and prior to running for office played handball professionally on the U.S. National Team. During her time in office, she has fought to defend the rights of trans kids and created a safe space for them in her office at the Capitol.
