La'Tasha Mayes

La’Tasha Mayes is a Democrat running for re-election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. She is the first out LGBTQ woman ever elected to the Pennsylvania legislature.

Mayes was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2022 and is the first woman to ever represent the 24th Legislative District, the first out lesbian to ever serve in the Pennsylvania General Assembly and the first LGBTQ+ parent to serve in the General Assembly.

Mayes is a nationally recognized leader in the field of reproductive justice, human rights and leadership development for Black women and girls.
