Liz Sheehan

Liz Sheehan is running for re-election to Lexington City Council in Kentucky.

Liz Sheehan was elected to Lexington City Council in 2020, defeating a long-term incumbent, and was re-elected in 2022. Sheehan is also a researcher, college educator, and working mother.

During her time on council, she has helped secure millions of dollars in funding for her neighbors experiencing homelessness and co-sponsored Lexington’s ban on conversion therapy for minors.
