Madeline Eden

Madeline Eden is a Democratic nominee for the Texas State House of Representatives in the 17th district.

Eden has lived in Balstrop since 2005 and has been active in Democratic party politics in the district for many years. She ran for Congress in 2018, placing 4th in the Democratic primary. She has owned a number of IT companies, and started a technology nonprofit that helps people register to vote.

Eden’s priorities are increasing rural access to healthcare, decriminalizing marijuana, and improving rural internet access.
