Marianna Anaya is a Democrat running for re-election to the New Mexico State Senate.

Marianna Anaya was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico by her mother, grandmother and eight aunts. She has spent her career as an organizer and advocate, leading legislative efforts to repeal New Mexico's 1969 abortion ban, pass the Voting Rights Act, expand the Human Rights Act, protect Gender Affirming Care and advocate for Paid Family and Medical Leave.
