Precious Brady-Davis is a Democrat running to retain her seat as a Commissioner on the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago.

The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago is a $1B agency tasked with overseeing flood abatement, water quality protection for Lake Michigan, and reclamation. and treatment of wastewater.

Brady-Davis was appointed to this seat in July 2023 by Governor J.B. Pritzker. She is the first openly Black trans woman appointed to public office in Cook County history and the first to serve on a water reclamation district in the U.S.

Her priorities are increasing investments in renewable and green energy infrastructure, investing in community programs to advance stormwater management, and protecting Lake Michigan.
