Robyn Lady
Robyn Lady is running for an open seat on the Fairfax County School Board representing the Dranesville district.
Lady has been an educator, counselor, and administrator in the public school system for 30 years, including 27 years in Fairfax County Public Schools. In 2022 she retired after serving for 15 years as Director of Special Services at Chantilly High School. She has been involved in the community, serving on the board of a local theater in Tyson’s Corner and volunteering through her church. She also runs a small business that provides college admission coaching to students and their families.
Her priorities are fighting back against overreach from other levels of government in Fairfax County schools, ensuring that all students have access to high quality educational opportunities, and supporting and improving the mental health of students. She has been endorsed the Fairfax County Democratic Committee, Victory Fund, FCPS Pride, and several federal, state, and local elected officials.
