Shannon Baldwin
Judge Shannon Baldwin is running for re-election as a Harris County Criminal Court Judge in Texas.
Baldwin was first elected to the Harris County Criminal Court Position 4 Judge in 2018. In that election she defeated a Republican incumbent by more than 150,000 votes. She is the only LGBTQ woman serving as a judge in Harris County, which is the 3rd largest in the United States. Prior to her election she worked as an attorney in private practice.
Her priorities are continuing criminal justice reforms, bail bon reform, and expanding outreach and services for the Veterans Court. Baldwin. has been endorsed by Victory Fund, Run Sister Run, AFL-CIO, and the African American Police Officers League.
