Shontel Lewis

Shontel Lewis is running for election to the Denver City Council in District 8.

Lewis recently left a term in office on the Regional Transportation District (RTD) Board of Directors. She was elected in 2018. Her RTD Board district included all of the council district she is now running in. Outside of elected office she has served as a Vice President at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, the Director of Engagement at Denver Public Schools, and worked for the City and County of Denver.

Her priorities are good governance, improved transit, and affordable housing access.
