Sol Kersey

Sol Kersey is a queer transgender/nonbinary Democrat running for Cincinnati City Council.

In law school, they worked both with the Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati and the African-American Policy Forum. While working with Kimberlé Crenshaw directly, Sol was able to more firmly grasp the nuances and theoretical underpinnings of the law. All of this led to Sol’s eventual employment with Equality Ohio Legal Clinic, where they currently work.
