Stormie Forte

Stormie Forte is a Democrat running for re-election to the Raleigh City Council in North Carolina.

Stormie D. Forte was appointed as the District D Councilwoman on July 13, 2020, becoming the first Black woman to serve on the Raleigh City Council. In November of 2022 she was elected as an At-Large member of the City Council, becoming the first Black woman to win a city-wide election in Raleigh.

Forte currently works as a consultant and as an attorney for the Guardian Ad Litem Program for the State of North Carolina providing legal representation for minor children who are involved in cases with the Department of Social Services.
