Teri Johnston

Teri Johnston is running for re-election as Mayor of Key West, FL. She was first elected to the office in 2018.

Johnston was elected in a runoff following a 7-person primary in 2018 and re-elected in 2020 with 60% of the vote. Prior to serving as mayor she was a member of the Key West City Commission from 2007-2015. Outside of politics she owns and operates a construction company with her wife.

Her priorities are providing affordable housing for full-time residents in Key West, mitigating sea level rises, and improving the quality of life for her constituents. She has been endorsed by Equality Florida.
