LPAC announces October 2021 endorsements
Washington D.C. (October 19, 2021) – LPAC, the only organization dedicated to electing LGBTQ women to local, state, and federal office, has made four more endorsements.
Two endorsees are up for election on November 2. just two weeks away!
Seema Singh for Knoxville City Council. Seema is running for a second term on the Council after first being elected in 2017. She is a progressive champion and one of just two LGBTQ elected officials in East Tennessee!
Carmen Rivera for Renton, WA City Council. Carmen is a first-time candidate who had a strong showing in the primary this summer. She will be the youngest person and the only LGBTQ person on the Council.
We've also made two important endorsements for 2022!
Tina Kotek for Governor of Oregon. Tina is currently serving as the Speaker of the Oregon House of Representatives. She was the first openly LGBTQ woman to serve as a State House Speaker when she assumed office in 2013, and she will be the first and only openly lesbian governor in the United States.
Janelle Perez for Florida State Senate. LPAC previously endorsed Janelle in her run for Congress, and we are with her all the way now as she runs to flip a State Senate seat in Miami.
