Lindsey Sugar, Real Estate Investment Executive, Joins LPAC Board

LPAC, the nation's leading and only organization dedicated to electing LGBTQ+ women and nonbinary candidates to public office, is thrilled to announce the addition of Lindsey Sugar to its Board of Directors. With a dynamic career spanning over two decades in real estate investment, strategic advisory, and capital raising, Sugar brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of championing diversity, equity, and inclusion.

About Lindsey Sugar: 

Lindsey Sugar is an accomplished executive and entrepreneur with more than twenty years of real estate investment, strategic advisory, and capital raising experience. Throughout her career, Sugar has advised on over $6 billion in real estate transactions for leading institutional investors, including the largest public pension funds and foundations. She has been a vocal advocate for minority and women-owned emerging investment managers for more than a decade.

Most recently, as Senior Managing Director of Capital Markets at Elion Partners, a Latino-owned real estate private equity firm, Sugar played a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s assets under management from $1.4B to $3.6B in less than three years. An alumna of New York University, she graduated with honors from the Master of Real Estate Development program and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chicago.

In 2023, Sugar was honored as a “Woman of Influence'' by Globe Street for her contributions to the real estate industry. Beyond her professional achievements, she is committed to mentoring the next generation of leaders through her work with the NYU Shack Real Estate Institute and her membership in Chief. Lindsey resides in Los Angeles with her two daughters.
