Angie Craig

 

 

Angie Craig was elected to represent Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District in 2018 and re-elected in 2020 and 2022. She is the first LGBTQ woman to represent Minnesota in Congress. She is also the first openly LGBTQ mother to serve in Congress.

Rep. Craig learned the value of hard work from her mother, a single mom who raised three children while earning her teaching degree. She too worked two jobs to help put herself through college. Years later, she moved to Minnesota and fell in love with the strong communities and quality of life. She and her wife Cheryl Greene have four sons and live in Eagan, Minnesota. She is a small business investor, the former head of Global HR for a major Minnesota manufacturer, and a former newspaper reporter.

Her priority issues this election cycle are re-establishing a woman’s right to an abortion, delivering infrastructure dollars to her district in Minnesota, and retaking the House. She serves on the serves on the Agriculture, Energy and Commerce, and Small Business Committees.
