Carrie Hamblen is a Democrat running for re-election to the New Mexico State Senate.

Carrie Hamblen was first elected to the New Mexico State Senate in 2020, unseating a Democratic incumbent. For 16 years, Hamblen has served on the Board of Directors for the Las Cruces chapter of PFLAG, where she served as President from 2009 to 2016.

Hamblen also served as Co-Chair of the Southern New Mexico PRIDE Board of Directors for five years. In 2012, she became the CEO/President of the Las Cruces Green Chamber of Commerce, which focuses on creating sustainable support for local businesses.
