Dia Hildenbrand is running for the Circleville Board of Education in Ohio.

Hildenbrand has lived in Circleville, her wife’s home town, for 14 years. She and her wife have two children in the school district. Hildenbrand works as a banker and is a founding Board Member of the Circleville Human Kindness Alliance, a nonprofit that partners with schools to reduce bullying and provide a safe space for all students.

There are five at-large seats on the school board, with three up for election this year. Hildenbrand is running to protect LGBTQ students and to ensure that Circleville schools are safe for all students.
