Emily Rodrigues

Emily Rodrigues is a Democrat running for the Florida House of Representatives.

Emily Rodrigues has called District 98 her home for her entire life. Her passion for advocacy was sparked during her early college years after being sexually assaulted on campus. Through her experiences as a survivor, she has become a dedicated advocate for victims rights. While working in the Florida Senate under Senator Shevrin Jones, she assisted in the passage of several bills and procurement of millions of dollars in state funding, helped resolve hundreds of constituents’ issues, and planned community engagement events.

If elected, Emily would become the first openly bisexual woman elected to the Florida Legislature.
