Erin Armstrong

Erin Armstrong is running for Oakland City Council.

Erin Armstrong has lived in Oakland since 2011, moving there with her wife to escape oppression in Utah. Armstrong has over a decade of nonprofit experience and has served as a Senior Policy Advisor for an Alameda County Supervisor. In 2021, she became a mother, further deepening her commitment to creating a safe, clean, and supportive community for all families in Oakland.

If elected, Erin would be the first trans person to serve on the Oakland City Council.
