Erin Zwiener

Erin Zwiener is running for re-election as a Democrat to the Texas House of Representatives in the 45th District.

Zwiener was first elected to the State House in 2018, winning election in a swing district. She was re-elected in 2020. Zwiener is an author, activist, and conservationist. She was involved in Indivisible and organized a number of protests prior to running for her legislative seat in 2018.

Her priorities are protecting the environment, making sure the state pays its fair share for public education, and expanding access to all forms of healthcare, including abortion. She has been endorsed by HRC, Equality Texas, AFL-CIO, Annie’s List, and the Sierra Club.
