Josie Leavitt

Josie Leavitt is a Democrat running for re- election to the Vermont House of Representatives.

Josie Leavitt is a stand-up comic, Vice Chair of the Grand Isle Selectboard, and a board member of the Champlain Islands Food Shelf. Leavitt previously ran the Pride Center in Burlington.

Leavitt was first elected to the State House in 2022, when she won a seat by nine votes with 24.8 percent of the vote. Leavitt lives in Grand Isle with her partner and their rescue dog
