Heather Mizeur

Heather Mizeur is running for election to Maryland’s 1st Congressional District in 2022. She would be the first openly LGBTQ woman to represent the state in Congress.

Mizeur is a former elected official, she served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 2007-2015. Since that time she has lived full time on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and is currently the CEO of a non-profit organization she founded that addresses social justice issues.

Mizuer’s campaign is focused on building a strong economy, promoting heath equality, and strengthening elections and democracy.
