Jackie Goldman

Jackie Goldman is a Democrat running for election to the Providence City Council in Rhode Island. They would be the only openly nonbinary and queer person on the Council.

Goldman is challenging an incumbent in the Democratic primary for this seat. Outside of politics they are an epidemiologist with Brown University, focusing on drug overdose prevention and reducing harms related to drug use.

Jackie’s priority issues are affordable housing, improving the quality of public education, and fixing crumbling municipal infrastructure. They have been endorsed by Run for Something and Rhode Island Queer PAC.
