Janelle Perez

Janelle Perez is a Democrat running for election to the Florida State Senate in the 38th District.

Perez was born and raised in Miamii. Prior to her current job in the healthcare industry she worked for a number of years on Capitol Hill for former U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.

Perez’s campaign is focused on accessible, affordable healthcare, economic opportunity, human rights, and environmental protection. Perez would be the first LGBTQ Latina elected to the Florida Legislature.
