Jen Westmoreland

Jen Westmoreland is running in a special election for a seat on the Hennepin County Commission in Minnesota. Hennepin County is the largest county in the state.

Westmoreland is currently the President of the Hopkins School Board and is halfway through her second term on the Board. She also serves on the executive committee for Heading Home Hennepin, an organization working to end homelessness in the county. Throughout her career, she has worked in partnership with LGBTQ+ youth, educators, and caregivers to enact policies that support the safety and full inclusion of all LGBTQ+ community members.

Westmoreland is focused on climate justice, youth and family issues, improving transit and housing, and strengthening worker protections in Hennepin County.
