Laura Jane Cohen

Laura Jane Cohen is a Democrat running for election to the Virginia House of Delegates representing portions of Fairfax County.

Cohen was elected to the Fairfax County School Board in 2019. The election was officially nonpartisan, but she defeated a very conservative incumbent by an 8.5% margin. She has previously been a long-term substitute teacher and school PTA president in the district.

Her priority issues are education, reproductive rights, and gun violence prevention. he has been endorsed by several Federal, state, and local elected officials, LiUna, and Victory Fund.
