Raya Arbiol
Raya Arbiol is a Democrat running for election to the New Jersey General Assembly (Legislative District 12). She would be one of the first openly LGBTQ women elected to the New Jersey State Legislature.
Arbiol is an immigrant from the Philippines and Navy veteran. She became much more involved in politics during the 2016 elections, and has been active in the Old Bridge Democratic Organization. Outside of politics she works for an insurance company and has a consulting small business.
Her campaign priorities are affordable housing, women’s right to choose, and supporting veterans.
