María Isa Pérez-Hedges is a Democrat running for election to the Minnesota State House of Representatives.

Pérez-Hedges is a first-time candidate. She won the party endorsement at the DFL convention and subsequently won the August primary election with 80% of the vote. She directs the mentorship program for the Twin Cities Mobile Jazz Project and serves on the Capitol Area Architectural and Planning Board Public Engagement Advisory Task Force. She is also a performing artist.

Her priorities are healthcare access, education equity, and housing justice. She has been endorsed by the Minnesota DFL, OutFront Action Minnesota, the Sierra Club, and numerous labor groups. She has also received many endorsements from local community leaders.
