Marni LeFevre

Marni LeFevre is running for a seat on West Valley City Council in Utah.

LeFevre has been a high school biology teacher for a decade. Working at schools with few resources inspired her to take action and work toward more equitable options for her students. She successfully worked with the district to establish a swim team and collaborated with municipal parks and recreation departments to set up facilities for competitive swimming for her students. Many of her students went on to become competitive swimmers, winning regional competitions.

With 139,000 residents, West Valley is the second largest city in Utah, located 20 minutes southwest of Downtown Salt Lake City. LeFevre is focused on affordable housing and sustainable energy.
