Olgy Diaz

Olgy Diaz is running for a full term on the Tacoma City Council in Washington State. She was first appointed in 2022.

A longtime government affairs and campaign professional, Diaz has served on the city’s Human Rights Commission and worked in the state legislature for five years. She previously ran for the City Council ten years ago. In addition to her part-time council role, she is employed by a state agency.

Diaz’s priorities are affordable housing, public transit, alternative public safety response models, and economic development.
